Because Transparency Isn’t a Buzzword Here
We built TryClearCut for people who hate fine print — because we do too.
When you trust us with your data, we don’t bury the truth behind legal fences. We tell you what happens, why it happens, and how you can change it.
We’re a team that’s actually organized events, crashed servers, printed last-minute badges at 3 a.m. — and learned the hard way that trust is the real foundation of any platform. So here’s the human version of our privacy policy.
What We Collect — and the Reason Behind It
When you sign up, register for an event, or use our dashboard, we collect a few essentials:
your name, email, organization (if you give one), and whatever details you choose to share about your event.
We also collect usage data — which pages people click, how long they stay, what features they use most. Not to spy. To improve. It’s like taking feedback without making you fill another survey.
If you pay for a subscription or ticket, payment details go through trusted third-party processors (Stripe, Razorpay, etc.). We never store full card numbers on our servers. Ever.
How We Use It
We use your data to:
- run the platform smoothly,
- communicate with you about updates or support,
- keep your account secure,
- and occasionally (rarely) send a product update that’s actually useful.
We don’t rent lists. We don’t sell access.
If we send you something, it’s because it helps you — not because a marketing partner paid for your inbox space.
Cookies — the Necessary Kind
TryClearCut uses cookies to make the site load faster, remember logins, and keep analytics running.
No invasive tracking, no hidden pixels.
You can disable cookies in your browser anytime. We’ll miss some data that helps us improve, but the site will still work just fine.
Third-Party Services
We use a few trusted services — analytics, payment gateways, cloud hosting — that help the platform function. Each one is selected for reliability, security, and compliance with international data protection standards (including GDPR where applicable).
They handle your information only to perform their specific role — and nothing beyond that. If any partner stops meeting our standards, we drop them.
Security — Built Like an Engineer Thinks
We secure data using encryption, access control, and good old-fashioned paranoia.
Servers are monitored, databases locked down, backups encrypted.
Only authorized members of our team can access sensitive data — and even they see just what’s necessary to do their job.
No one here treats user information as “just numbers in a table.” It’s personal. And personal means protected.
Your Rights
You can access, update, or delete your data anytime.
Just email us at privacy@tryclearcut.com — no 14-step forms or “please wait 60 days” responses.
You can also request to export your data if you’re moving to another platform. We get it — migrations happen.
Children’s Privacy
TryClearCut isn’t built for minors.
If you’re under 18, please use the platform only under supervision or through a parent/guardian. We don’t knowingly collect data from children, and if we find we have, it’s deleted immediately.
Policy Updates — No Surprises
When we change something in this policy, we’ll update the date at the top and, if it’s a big change, let you know directly.
We don’t do silent edits or hidden clauses. That’s not how trust works.
Talk to Us
We built this platform for humans, not “users.”
So if you’ve got questions, complaints, or ideas about how we can handle privacy better, reach out. You’ll get a reply from a real person — probably one of us who’s been up late fixing something.
